The supreme court of Wikiland ruled that all Scientology IP addresses be bannished from editing Wikipedia because of their self-serving edits. The net has been abuzz about this earth-shattering decree all day today.

The changes made to the "Scientology" Wikipedia article in the moments leading up to the ban illustrate just how heated and controversial these edits became.

By reading it, we learn that men are mean, women are crazy, and perhaps you should stop getting your relationship advice from a computer. Because if you were dating, this wouldn't exist. Maybe it was made by this guy?

The news yesterday: Time Warner is spinning off AOL. AOL will be its own, autonomous, independent, publicly traded company. This could be the answer to our economic woes.

Yesterday, I also got 600 free hours of AOL in the mail! I hope that's still valid.

If users find something particularly exciting, commenters occasionally try to one up each other with their additional witticisms.

So when the above screen grab from a FOX Business report with a chyron reading "Firefox: Most popular search engine after Microsoft and Apple" hit the site, net nerds were sent into a tizzy publishing over 500 comments as of this post.  One user called a FOX News mistake involving computer lingo the "Reddit perfect storm."
