Can We Cut It With the Stupid Headlines Please?
As previously posted, I've begun taking a stand against ridiculous article headlines.
Apparently the foreseeable end of print media has created a perfect storm of dumb titles. Online journalist are still having trouble realizing that just because it's on the web doesn't mean it isn't for reals. Whereas print journalist, desperate for attention, are willing to pull out all the stops to grab potential readers.
So here's our latest gem: "Star Report: Adam Lambert says he's gay; also, sun rises in east."
Awesome. Way to class it up Mercury News.
Jesus. Ever since Katie Couric took over the CBS Evening News no one feels the need to even try anymore.
