Illustrated Missed Connections

The "Missed Connections" category is a staple of Craigslist.  Though little proof exists that it works at connecting people who "missed" each other the first time around, it can definitely be fun to check out once in awhile.

Alas, many of us will never find ourselves to have been "missed."  (Seriously, you're not that attractive and that green shirt you're wearing isn't helping anything.)  But now, Sophie Blackall has created an even smaller subsection of humanity that most of us will never be a part of: Missed Connection Paintings.

On her Blogspot account "MissedConnectionsNY," she occasionally releases beautiful illustrations of Missed Connections she's found on Craigslist.

So yeah, if you thought you had a hard time getting people to notice you before, striving to end up on Sophie's blog is probably waaay out of your league.
