Screw Match.com!  Or, in the case of the two guys above, maybe "Screw JDate!" would be more fitting.

Either way, the web provides tons of options to help you meet new people: dating sites, social networking sites, Craigslist, Google stalking.  But Dave and Ethan have discovered an interesting new way to try and meet the women of their dreams: Begging for dates on YouTube.

Well, "begging" might be the wrong term, but about a year and a half ago this NYC-based comedy duo put out an open call on YouTube looking for women to "double date" them.

So far, the plan has netted them nearly 200 dates, resulting in over a dozen videos documenting their exploits.  Not too shabby.

Still, despite their successes in meeting women via online videos, I'm guessing most of us are better off sticking to the written profile thing.  Just ask anyone who has ever had to direct a movie starring Tom Cruise: It's easier to make someone look normal in a single picture than over the course of a whole movie.
