Thank you, Buzzfeed, for trying to be cute by posting the above video of an elk splashing around in a puddle!
Unfortunately, this video triggered my PTSD, causing a flashback to when I was scarred as a young child watching The NeverEnding Story.
Lucky for him, the elk calf is extra excited to be taking a birdbath in sewage, otherwise this Swamp of Sadness would certainly have eaten him alive.
All animal videos become less cute when you imagine a blood-curling "Artax!" accompanying them.
