This Cat is More Successful Than You!

In Japan, a cat (seen above) has recently been appointed as "a corporate executive of the Wakayama Electric Railway Co."
The cat, known as Tama, was promoted from her former position as "stationmaster" — a position she has held for three years.
As The Mainichi Daily News reports: "This is the first time in the world for a cat to become an executive of a railroad corporation, a company official said."
WHAT?!
Am I to believe that, in the past, a cat had become an executive of some other sort of corporation.
Look, Japan. We know you love cats. I've seen more Maru videos than I'd like to admit. But that doesn't mean you can go appointing them as heads of state or whatever.
Keep your cats on the Internet where they belong.
