Surfers Have Too Much Time on Their Hands
Surfing seems like a pretty fun hobby. And surfers always come off as relaxed and easy going. Somehow they pay all their bills and make a living despite the fact that they are just at the beach all day long.
I've looked at surfers before and felt envious. But it never occurred to me just how boring the surf life must be. Honestly, how many days in a row can you really ride waves before the monotony sets in? How many weeks before the sunshine becomes a bother and you crave a desk job in a dark corner?
How long do you go before you say, "I'm tired of just surfing, man. I think I'll bring my alpaca out there with me today."
