Remember the old Nicolas Cage? The one that was in Gone in Sixty Seconds and Adaptation? He was an actor, right? He played roles like a car thief or a dad or a screenwriter and then when the movie was wrapped he went back to being Nic Cage. Yes? Just say yes so I can prove my point.

Well now he is his characters. He maintains half a head of meth addict method actor hair, he whispers tales of his childhood while stroking his chin, and at the end of the day he sits down to a wholesome meal of animals who used to have dignified sex.

In interviews he plays Nicolas Cage but he's not very good at it. It's like, come on BalthazarJohnnyBlazeBenGatesBlake, Nic Cage would never admit to being friendless as a child. At least pretend like you know that!
