Is It Speciesist?
As people who hate my blog posts regularly point out, I write a lot about "things on top of other things." I also tend to have an affinity for turtles, which is odd because in real life, like everyone else, I realize that turtles suck.
So when I came across this image of a duck standing on top of some turtles, Carly declared, "It is like the ultimate photo in your eyes." Which is true.
But I rarely think of the repercussions of animals standing on top of other animals. Like, who the fuck does that duck think he is, depriving those poor turtles of light and heat? Not to mention how uncomfortable it must be to have a goddamn duck standing on your back.
So now I wonder… Animals on top of other animals… Is it speciesist?
