Are we idiots?  Was it naive of us to think that you guys might take this competition with even an ounce of sincerity?  No and Yes.

We let you do all the voting: What did you think Daniel Tosh should wear when Tosh.0 returns on June 2nd?

And after two wild weeks of competition, you decided the winner: Fruit Costumes.

Mesh Shirts weren't silly enough for you.  Formal Jackets?  God forbid you guys want us to class up the joint!  You had no nostalgia for Starter Jackets.  No one jumped at the opportunity for Jumpsuits.

No, the Tosh.0 fans chose the most ridiculous outfit of the bunch.

Let me take this opportunity to remind you of what we said in our very first Casual Bracket post: "If you're lucky, Daniel might even wear your pick in June! (Though if the past is any indicator, don't plan on getting lucky.)"

Sometimes, you have to create your own luck.  I personally think Daniel was being earnest when he was rooting for Wetsuits.  You may have just broken the man's heart.

But I guess now we wait and see.  What will Daniel be wearing when he walks on stage at 10:30pm / 9:30c on June 2nd on Comedy Central?  Will it be a Fruit Costume?

How the hell should I know?  They have me stuck all the way out in New York!  All I know is, screw Mountain Time.

The moment has come!  On March 26th, sixteen valiant competitors entered the ring and now, after two weeks of voting, only two terrible choices remain: Ugly Sweaters and Fruit Costumes.

But someone must be crowned the Casual Bracket Champion.  And tonight, when the voting closes, that winner will be decided.

And it's all up to you!  Voting will be open from now until midnight.  You can return and vote up to once every hour.  Then, check back tomorrow at 3pm when we will recap the entire competition!

When voting closed at midnight last night, Ugly Sweaters secured their spot in our Casual Bracket Championship Match!  That sound you're hearing is Bill Cosby going apeshit.  He hasn't been this psyched since Temple went to the 2001 South Regional Final as an 11 seed!

Who will meet Ugly Sweaters tomorrow for a chance to win it all?  Now's your chance to decide!

From now until midnight, it's the highly anticipated head-to-head competition of Mesh Shirts vs. Fruit Costumes.

Since we are only doing 12 hours of voting, you can vote up to once an hour, so keep coming back!  Then check in tomorrow at noon when we'll show the results and open up voting for the Championship Match!

Last night, Duke eked out a victory over mid-major sensation Butler (despite Butler having two different shots to win the game!)  Will the Casual Bracket be as tight?  We're about to find out in the first of our two Final Four match ups.

From now until midnight, you'll have the opportunity to decide who you want in the championship: Ugly Sweaters or Bowling Shirts.

NCAA March Madness might be over, but we still have three more days of Casual Bracket.  Are you excited!?

Was that a crazy opening round or what?!  Sweater Vests got a surprise early exit, Jumpsuits rolled, and passions have reached an all time high.  (A lot of people passionately believe those are not Daniel's real arms, which, obviously, they aren't.)

We're down to our "Elite Eight" — and if the NCAA's Elite Eight was any indication, there are plenty of surprises left to come.

The second round of voting is officially open so tell us who you want to move on.  Voting will close Friday at midnight, with 4 winners heading to our "Final Four" next week. Vote up to once per day.

Round 1 has come to an end, and what an amazing four days it was!

We received over 17,000 votes per poll for a whopping 139,000+ total votes.  I don't think Montana does that well in their gubernatorial election.

What happened?  Well, first, let's look at a couple blow outs.

Jumpsuits was the biggest winner, clobbering Raincoats by a 76% to 24% margin.  They'll be taking on another big winner in the second round, Fruit Costumes, which beat up on the much heralded Wetsuits to the tune of over 5,000 votes.

In our closest battle, surprisingly Bowling Shirts edged out Sweater Vests by just 284 votes.  Sweater Vests received a lot of nominations, but turns out people just couldn't resist seeing Daniel in turquoise.  In what's sure to be an interesting 2nd round match up, Bowling Shirt will face Hawaiian Shirts, which soundly defeated Argyle — proving once again that no one is a winner when they're wearing argyle.

In a monster upset for fashion, Ugly Sweaters had a 32 percentage point victory over Formal Jackets.  Turns out our stylist was right: People aren't ready to see a formal Daniel Tosh yet.  But voting did Daniel's favorite team proud, as Sports Jerseys edged out Track Jackets by just under 2,000 votes, probably with a little support from Miami fans.

Lastly, Metal Tees took down my personal favorite Starter Jackets by a slim margin, 327 votes, though I don't think anything is more metal than rockin' an old school Starter Jacket!  We'll see if Slayer is ready to kick some ass against Mesh Shirts in the next round, as the slightly see-through top beat up on Bathrobes by a 20% margin.  Metal vs. Mesh is sure to be an epic battle.

Bowling Shirts are just edging out Sweater Vests by a slim margin.  And Starter Jackets and Metal Tees are running neck and neck!

But it's not over…

We've had over ten thousand votes per match up (!), but voting is still open for two more days.  Anything is possible!  Even Raincoats could make a 2nd half comeback!  (But not very likely).

Debate over what Daniel will wear to replace casual jackets has reached a fever pitch!  Which is why we've come up with the definitive way to determine the fan favorite: our Casual Bracket!  Screw, Huskies vs. Mountaineers…  This year it's all about Jumpsuits vs. Raincoats!

Casual Bracket 2010 is a March Madness-inspired, 16 "team" tournament to find out what article of clothing Tosh.0 fans think should replace casual jackets in Daniel's wardrobe when the show returns on June 2nd.
