An Israeli couple has named their daughter "Like" after the Facebook phenomenon of "liking" things.
At least Like will grow up thankful her parents didn't go with their backup choice… "Farmville."

Reddit stumbled upon BabyZone's Baby Names Inventor and immediately dubbed it the "Worst baby name generator ever."
But I disagree! Just look at some of the wonderful names it invented when I tried it.
Who says your child's name needs to be pronounceable? Gereerer's father certainly doesn't!
And what mother wouldn't want her child's name to sound like a deadly toxin? The woman who named Manandyl thinks that is totally awesome.
And what proud parents wouldn't love to see their kid broken down from years of childhood bullying and go on to assassinate an important member of their state's government? Looks like Radldorab's name is going to be in the paper!
I think we can all agree this whole thing has to be a publicity stunt. Kudos to the head of BabyZone's marketing department, Mr. Rlyeldo Smith.

On February 27th, some kick-ass brother created a Facebook group called ?MY SISTER SAID IF I GET ONE MILLION FANS SHE WILL NAME HER BABY MEGATRON.? So far the group has 800,000 fans, and the numbers are quickly rising.
Team Megatron is definitely going to gain another 200,000 fans before the baby is born in August. So it looks like that child will be born a Decepticon.
He is going to love growing up with that name. Especially when Michael Bay offers to pay his college tuition!
Personally, I would have preferred a movement to call the baby Bumble Bee. But I think Gwyneth Paltrow already has a kid named that.

Buzzfeed just introduced me to NameMapper — a cool feature on the website BabyNameWizard.com that allows people to see the popularity of baby names by state throughout all of time (or at least back to the early '60s).
Above is the map for the name "Michael" (my full birth name) for the year I was born (1979) focusing on the state I was born in (Missouri).
What we discover here is, despite what my parents told me throughout my childhood, I was, indeed, not special (thus explaining how I've ended up working for the Tosh.0 blog).
In fact, "Michael" was the most popular name in all of Missouri that year.
Now, I know what you're thinking: But Michael Jackson's breakthrough album Off the Wall wasn't released until August of 1979 — months after I was born! So that doesn't explain anything.
I guess my parents just wanted me to live a life of spirit crushing anonymity and conformity. Either that, or they just stole the name off the crib next to me.
What's your name say about you?
