These are pretty cool: retractable chopsticks.

It's almost as good as that other amazing piece of technology: the fork.

But all rehashing of Jerry Seinfeld bits aside, I think the chopstick gets a horrible rap.  Using chopsticks instead of a knife and fork dramatically reduces the amount of cutting one is expected to do during the eating stage of a meal.  Less cutting means more laziness which, obviously, is awesome.

Plus, not having knifes on the table significantly reduces the chance of getting stabbed during a meal.  …though you can always bring your own knife if you really hate who you're eating with.
