Enjoy this New Year's Eve.  According to the doomsayers, we only have one more to go before the end of the world!

As Dan Piraro, creator of the Bizarro Comic seen above, says on his blog discussing the reaction to the cartoon:

"Get ready for 2012, only two years to go unless The Rapture happens first."

I think it would awesome if the rapture happened before 2012.  That way, when the aliens come to save us, all the devout Christians will be gone, leaving more room for us sinners in their spaceships.

It all sounds so exciting, doesn't it!  Much better than a champagne toast.

Let me explain this. It is a mash-up that automatically places a random Tweet from the Twitter public timeline in the first panel. Then, it automatically fills the second panel with a random Dinosaur Comic ( you've seen them before). Finally, it automatically makes you laugh.

Fully-automated humor like this is the next phase for shows on VH1.

Here's a funny little 'toon you may or may not have seen from Abstruse Goose:

Despite it's humor, it actually brings up an interesting question: Is there a Yelp for dating?  Somewhere where you can provide feedback on people?  A site like Rotten Tomatoes that aggregates what all your friends think of you?  It would be like eBay's user feedback but without the hassle of having to buy or sell things.

I'm sure, like everywhere else on the Net, it would be a pleasant place with plenty of positive vibes and a tremendously respectful, non-racist user base.

I can only assume that, with the breadth of the web, I'm not the first to come up with this idea.  If I am, however, please count this blog post as my official patent.

Actually, didn't the Nazis try that once?  I'm not sure.  Plus that predates computers.
