Hey!  The Old Spice guy is back!  With a new "viral ad" you can watch online.

I'm not going to embed the video here.  On this site, you have to pay for advertising.

I don't see how people get so excited about a commercial.  One recent commenter on the video stated: "i propose we build an 'Old Spice' church? and we make this guy our god."  I have a better proposal: Let's not do that.  Instead let's build a church where we can pray that people like you aren't legally allowed to vote.

Look at the actor pictured above.  Now look away.  Now keep looking away lest you become brainwashed by this garbage.

I'll keep washing my body with vinegar and a soiled washcloth, thank you very much.

There's been a lot of buzz on the Internet over this "gay" French "McDonald's" ad seen above.

But I don't get it.  It kind of fails on all fronts.  It doesn't really do a great job promoting McDonald's and it's not that gay.  You have some kid lightly rubbing his thumb on his all-male class photo.  And then there's the dad with a tray full of food we barely even see.

If they really wanted to get people in the mood to eat McDonald's — and to be gay — they would show two hot guys giving each other delicious golden brown McDonald's fries using only their moist, succulent lips.

Imagine: A taut 18-year French boy clenching a piping-hot, delicious McDonald's french fry between his teeth seductively leaning into another, slightly older, yet no less taut, French lad.  The older gentleman pulls the fry from between the boy's lips, but he doesn't stop there, taking this opportunity to move in for a sloppy, wet kiss.

Now that would be a gay McDonald's ad!

I should have gone into marketing.

Apple is finally putting an end to their extremely successful "Get a Mac" ad campaign that featured Justin Long as the Mac and John Hodgman as the PC.  The ads have run since back in 2006.

Personally, I think it's great that these ads are finally coming to an end.  Now Justin Long will have plenty more time to act in all the amazing movies he chooses to perform in.

Amazing movies like Strange Wilderness and Old Dogs and Crossroads and Jeepers Creepers 2 and Planet 51 and After.Life and Alvin and the Chimpmunks and Serious Moonlight and Waiting… and Accepted and Herbie: Fully Loaded and He's Just Not That Into You and Jeepers Creepers and The Sasquatch Gang and Battle For Terra and Happy Campers and Idiocracy and The Break-Up and Raising Genius and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.

Thank god Justin can get back to a full-time acting schedule and continue to bring magic to the screen.
