Sauna Pants: The Fast Track to Sweaty Balls

Posted by: Mike Pomranz | February 3, 2012 at 10:00AM

Who the hell wants to wrap a sauna around their genitals?  Now "Jacuzzi Pants," that could be something worth trying.

You know, because of the jets.

They could feel good on your junk.

Or your lady parts.

Are you guys following me with why "Jacuzzi Pants" would be better than "Sauna Pants"?

Song Parodies Aren't For Every Department Store

Posted by: Mike Pomranz | November 21, 2011 at 2:00PM

It seems like forever ago that I personally made Rebecca Black an Internet star (at least according to Nightline).

But "forever" in Internet terms equals a mere 8 months in real time, making this the first Thanksgiving since "Friday" went viral, meaning it's the first chance for an inevitable Black "Friday" parody ad.

Kohl's is the first to toss their hat in the ring.

And somehow, they don't do the song justice.  Where's the random middle-aged black dude rapping while rolling around in a shopping cart?

Kohl's, you gotta realize people are about as over Rebecca Black as they're over reading the Tosh.0 Blog.

The Internet Loves Chuck Testa

Posted by: Mike Pomranz | September 16, 2011 at 1:00PM

Taking the Internet by storm this week: Chuck Testa.

What an amazing independently-produced commercial!

NOPE.  It was actually done by YouTube mainstays Rhett and Link.

That said, it's hard to deny Chuck Testa's natural charm.  And it is a real commercial.  I'm sure he'll be getting a wonderful mix of new business and prank phone calls.

But me, I'm going to find a taxidermist who will taxidermize my pets.  Because I've never owned a dead rhino, but I sure do have a lot of dead pets lying around my apartment.

Here's a Great Song…

Posted by: Mike Pomranz | May 17, 2011 at 4:00PM

Your instinct is going to be to underestimate this song, but I dare you to listen to it more than once.

Yes, the rapping is cheesy, but the beat is amazingly catchy and the scatting is phenomenal.

More than one listen.  I guarantee you'll be hooked.

Plus I'd f*** him.

Di doo doo doo doo dah bop… Beh bee bee bee bee di dah bamp… Bee bee bee bi bah bomp…

UPDATE: It has been brought to my attention in the comments that this song is a parody of the song "Scatman" by Scatman John.  My life is now complete.  I know what I will be listening to the rest of the week.

Rein In Your Lady Parts

Posted by: Mike Pomranz | March 28, 2011 at 12:00PM

According to the description, "SmoothGroove is a comfortable, hygienically safe and discreet solution to Camel Toe."

Christ.  I hope to God this doesn't catch on or I'm going to have to change the name of my Sade cover band.

Oddly enough, this woman's solution to her embarrassing camel toe problem was to become the international spokeswoman for people with embarrassing camel toe problems.  Maybe not the most well thought out plan.

Has Old Navy Lost Its Mind?

Posted by: Mike Pomranz | March 1, 2011 at 4:00PM

We're used to Old Navy having terrible commercials.  Their latest offering — an ad to sell "Ankle Jeans" — is no different.  You might have seen it recently on TV like I did.

But something strange caught my attention about 5 seconds in…  An icon pops up in the corner suggesting that you "Shazam NOW."

So wait…  Old Navy wants me to Shazam the JINGLE to the ANKLE JEAN COMMERCIAL???

I mean, yes, the song is awesome, but do I really need it on my iPod for non-stop brainwashing?

Well, I've done what I hope no one else dared do.  I did Shazam the ankle jeans commercial.  Here's what I found:

"The Ankle Show"
by Cherrie And The Stems
Album: The Ankle Show
Genre: Ankle Jeans
Label: Old Navy Records
GET THIS SONG FOR FREE

First, kudos to Old Navy Records for not charging me for this song from my new favorite music genre: Ankle Jeans.  One can only wonder who the next great Ankle Jean artist will be.

So next time you see me walking down the street, listening to my iPod, bobbing my head, know that I am listening to my new favorite song–

Ew.  No.  Not "The Ankle Show"!  That is so last week.

I've recently downloaded "$5 Footlong"…  A song from my even newer favorite genre: Sandwiches.

Joselyn Wishes She Could Blog About This Video of the Week!

Posted by: Mike Pomranz | August 5, 2010 at 2:00PM

Longtime Tosh.0 fans remember Joselyn as one of our original bloggers, but apparently Joselyn's too busy tweeting to actually blog anymore.

So since I am almost as lazy as she is, sometimes I go digging through her archives to find things I bet she wishes she could blog about.

I think this one speaks for itself.

These ad execs had to have known what they were doing.  I mean, it's not like sexual innuendo was invented sometime after the 1980s.  In fact, wasn't that when those terrible Big Johnson T-shirts were invented?

Irrelevant Comment of the Week

Posted by: Carly Hallam | April 14, 2010 at 7:00PM

Every week we see countless comments that have absolutely nothing to do with anything. Our favorite irrelevant comment this week came from DanJordan in response to the What Daniel Tosh Is Saying About Tosh.0 post.

Well, DanJordan, that is quite random. I watch enough TV to know that you are quoting a Trident Layers commercial I just don't know why.

On a side note, that commercial always creeps me out. Anyone with me? Those people are too happy and the dad is definitely sleeping with the babysitter.

If you have any irrelevant comments, please go ahead and leave them below. We bloggers truly appreciate your cooperation.

I'm on a horse.
