As I have stated on many, many occasions, there are only two good Christmas songs: Bing Crosby & David Bowie's duet of "The Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth" and Run DMC's "Christmas in Hollis."
So I was extremely excited to see that Funny or Die has released the video above: a nearly shot-for-shot line-for-line remake of the original Crosby & Bowie video for "Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth" with John C. Reilly as Bing Crosby and Will Ferrell as David Bowie.
Now, we just need to get them to do a shot-for-shot line-for-line remake of the video for "Christmas in Hollis" with Reilly as Run, Ferrell as DMC and I'm thinking Chris Kattan looks a lot like the bad little elf. He'd just have to wear slightly more makeup than usual.

Every week we see countless comments that have absolutely nothing to do with anything. Our favorite irrelevant comment this week came from myles Adams in response to a post about a $15,000 gingerbread house.
Woah, myles. Trying to slip that one past me? Confuse me with what seems like jargon? Not today. I know David Bowie's entire line of work. You don't by any chance know the way through this labyrinth, do you?
If you have any irrelevant comments please go ahead and leave them below. We bloggers appreciate your cooperation!
See his pug-nose face… pug, pug, pug, pug. The little fat man with the pug-nosed face… Yeah! Pug, pug, pug, pug. Little fat man… pug-nosed face… pug, pug, pug, pug…
I don't know what the implications of this are supposed to be… Is that guy really homeless? Is this just a public service announcement using an actor? Why are Freddie Mercury and David Bowie both Kermit??
Still, I doubt you'll ever find a better video rendition of two Kermit the Frogs lip-dubbing the song "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie all shot in one take. I mean, now that Jim Henson is dead.

Are you serious? All of that for Hunky Dory??
It's a good album, but I wouldn't cry like a little bitch to hear "Changes" for the one millionth time. I mean, I can understand if someone had taken away your copy of Lodger or cut off "Memory of a Free Festival" before the "sun machine is coming down" part, but this tantrum is just lame.
You really want something to cry about? Go listen to Bowie's 1987 train wreck Never Let Me Down.
