One of the cool things about modern times is that we live in a world where even the smallest news article in Anywhere, USA can receive national syndication on news sites across the web if it's stupid enough.
If you're really lucky, the story can provide you with a helpful life lesson where you're thankful you've heard it.
Here's a perfect example of a solid piece of advice I recently learned on the web: Don't call the cops to report a drunk driver when the drunk driver is you.
I'll let you go read the details of the story yourself, but please, learn from this woman's mistake.
If you call 911 while driving to report that you're too drunk to drive, not only are you going to jail, not only are you going to court, you're also going to get your name and mug shot plastered all over the Internet!
This is not the good kind of plastered!
So remember: If you're coherent enough to use a cell phone while driving, you are coherent enough to pull your car over and sleep in a gutter.
