The New York Police Department wants you to believe this video shows that "Bomb Squad technicians [on July 1st] destroyed approximately 5,000 pounds of confiscated fireworks at the NYPD firing range in the Bronx."

Right, NYPD…

Why don't you just admit that this year's police fireworks display was not as well choreographed as planned.

Better luck next year, guys.  Maybe a little patriotic music would help tie things together…
