Does a man named Los seem like he can afford french fries to you?

There's been a lot of buzz on the Internet over this "gay" French "McDonald's" ad seen above.

But I don't get it.  It kind of fails on all fronts.  It doesn't really do a great job promoting McDonald's and it's not that gay.  You have some kid lightly rubbing his thumb on his all-male class photo.  And then there's the dad with a tray full of food we barely even see.

If they really wanted to get people in the mood to eat McDonald's — and to be gay — they would show two hot guys giving each other delicious golden brown McDonald's fries using only their moist, succulent lips.

Imagine: A taut 18-year French boy clenching a piping-hot, delicious McDonald's french fry between his teeth seductively leaning into another, slightly older, yet no less taut, French lad.  The older gentleman pulls the fry from between the boy's lips, but he doesn't stop there, taking this opportunity to move in for a sloppy, wet kiss.

Now that would be a gay McDonald's ad!

I should have gone into marketing.
