Still Confused About The 'Lost' Finale?

Posted by: Carly Hallam | May 26, 2010 at 12:00PM

It's been three days since the series finale of Lost and many fans are having trouble coping with the amount of questions left answered.

I haven't watched the show since the first season so I expected to be confused by the attempt to wrap things up. It doesn't even make sense to me when reenacted by cats. But I'm not bothered by the gaping holes in the plot.

I guess the only questions nagging at me regard Boone. Like, when did he become a vampire that's in love with a high school student?

And, most importantly, what happened to his ability to control his eyebrows?

Let's Give Chris Klein A Chance To Somewhat Redeem Himself

Posted by: Carly Hallam | May 24, 2010 at 6:00PM

Last week a video of Chris Klein auditioning for Mamma Mia was leaked and it was terrible. Many people, including myself, made fun of him for it. Instead of fighting back or claiming it was fake, he joined in on the joke.

So here is 3 minutes of Chris Klein blowing auditions. I'll admit, it's actually pretty funny.

You know what they say, 'If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.' And you know what else they say, 'This doesn't change the fact that Chris Klein sucks.'

More Drunk History: Still Better Than Not Drunk History

Posted by: Carly Hallam | May 7, 2010 at 4:00PM

A few months back I let you in on the best secret in education, Drunk History. But apparently I was quick on the uptake and the video I posted was removed from our site. Damn Yankees! Or whatever.

But now…it's back! And I'm posting it legally. And it's still awesome!

This is the story of Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison as told by Duncan Trussell who is a six pack of beer and half a bottle of absinthe drunk. Tesla and Edison are played by John C. Reilly and Crispin Glover.

That's right. The video combines history, beer, and absinthe with John C. Reilly and Crispin Glover. Did the weekend come early? Because this sounds like a party!

And(as with any good party) there's PUKE!

Bieber or Die: Justin Bieber Takes Over FOD

Posted by: Carly Hallam | April 1, 2010 at 3:00PM

The Internet has gone crazy with viral pranks today and most of them are half-assed and only slightly amusing. Except Funny or Die's. The site is claiming to have been bought by Justin Bieber and the outcome is completely hilarious.

All of the featured videos are Justin Bieber remakes of classics. And as much as you hate that baby lesbian, you should visit the site because it's the best prank I've seen in a long time. Above is OMG Bieber vs. OMG Cat and other Bieberified viral favorites include Dramatic Bieber and Bieber After Dentist.

I know, I know. He sings like a girl and he looks like he's eight. But today, today I'm jumping on the Bieber wagon.

April Fools. I would never get on that wagon with all those tiny prostitutes. But seriously, check out the site.

More 'Between Two Ferns'

Posted by: Mike Pomranz | March 17, 2010 at 12:00PM

Web series blow.  Anyone worth their pepper has a real series… on television.

But I'm going to give Zach Galifianakis a pass.  Not because he's a big movie star who could be doing better things, nor because his web series "Between Two Ferns" is actually quite funny, but because he's in the bearded brotherhood.  Battle on, brother!  Even if you must battle on on the Internet.

Crazy enough though, Between Two Ferns is reaching real talk show like status.  Though Zach has had no problem getting big name actors on in the past, this edition features a serious movie plug for Ben Stiller's upcoming film, Greenberg.  That's the kind of corporate sellout usually reserved for network television!  Has Galifianakis found the key to Internet success?  Possibly.

The plug is certainly doing its job.  I even took the time to look up Greenberg.  Turns out it's a movie about a Jew.

Will Ferrell Encourages Us to Protect Insurance Companies

Posted by: Mike Pomranz | September 23, 2009 at 11:00AM

There's this big movie star: His name is Will Ferrell.  And whenever this Will Ferrell character appears in web videos people go nuts!

They're like, "OMG, I usually pay like $12 to see this guy be funny on a big screen but now I can see him be funny on my computer for free so I have to watch this new video like a million times until my eyes fall out!"

Remember that "The Landlord" video?  People were stampeding over the corpses of their dead children to watch that movie for the third time.

Which helps explains why the above video, "Protect Insurance Companies PSA" featuring Will Ferrell, quickly surged past the million views mark on Funny or Die within a day of being added to the site.

But another reason it's been so popular is that is satirizes for a worthy cause: Helping people get health insurance who otherwise can't afford it.

Because only people who are alive will have the same opportunities the rest of us enjoy: The opportunity to watch Will Ferrell web video's another a million times.

But seriously, people need health insurance.  Call the government and complain ASAP.
