When Digit the gorilla's biological mother refused to breastfeed her, the Thivillons decided to take her in. Apparently French zoo animals are just one formula meal away from being adopted by locals.

Now, I know what you're thinking: that gorilla is definitely going to end up murdering them. But we can't live our lives not doing things simply because those things may kill us. Would you not jump off a building just because MAYBE the fall would break your neck? Exactly.

Cute Overload labeled this baby gorilla pic "Amazing New Species Discovered!"  Apparently, they discovered a species of zookeepers who aren't reprimanded for abusing their animals in shameless attempts to get promotional photo ops.

Hasani (pictured below) was recently born at the San Francisco Zoo.  We're pretty sure the guise is so people can't jump to conclusions about his sexual orientation.  Don't worry, Hasani, an 800 pound gorilla can have sex however he wants… but especially in the Castro District.
