But is liking Bon Jovi really something to brag about?  I mean, yes, "Livin' on a Prayer" is a significant upgrade from whatever that tremendous piece of garbage who's-her-face was singing, but it's not even the best song on Slippery When Wet for the love of God!

It's not the like father changed over to Schubert or even Judas Priest.  This kid was just happy to see Miley Cyrus leave her television.  He could have popped in a VHS copy of Faces of Death II and this little girl would have smiled.

So though it's nice she has some discriminating tastes in music, don't go heaping praise on your daughter by saying she will "only listen to 80s and 90s songs."  Keep in mind the 80s and 90s is when Chumbawamba finally hit it big.
