'Tis the season… of people trying to milk funny Santa pictures for big-time blog hits.
The latest: SketchySantas.com, where we found the above photo.
I'm all for equal opportunity Santas, but seriously, dude, you can't take off the shades?
Hopefully all that kid wants for Christmas is a kilo. Judging by that tank-top and how skinny he is, he probably does.

See. A little creativity can go a long way.
As a kid, my parents used to drive us around to look at all the Christmas light decorations. We never saw anything like this, which is unfortunate, because those drives were the most boring part of the holiday season.
Something like the display above would have really spiced things up. Plus, I could have kept that house in mind for years later when I needed a neighbor to buy us beer.
Thankfully, now the Internet can replace all that quality family time spent in the car. And if Christmas light images start going viral, that'd be great for all those overzealous homeowners with excessive light displays intended to show up their neighbors who could really care less.
Let's move that competition out of the cul-de-sac and take it worldwide! Why be the arrogant dick of the subdivision when you can be the biggest dick on the web! …in a Christmas light sense, not a pornographic sense.

For the first time ever this year, social news site Reddit is introducing a Reddit "Secret Santa" gift exchange.
Any established "Redditor" could sign up, and on December 1st, participants were matched and addresses were swapped. December 10th, gifts will be sent. (Hopefully… assuming people follow the most important rule: "Don't be an asshole, please!")
I am a somewhat regular Redditor myself, so I decided to try out what RedditGifts proclaims "may be the biggest Secret Santa in the history of the world." (It appears over 4,000 people have gotten in on the action.)
Here's where you guys come in…
What gift should I send to my Reddit Secret Santa?
A $15 price tag is suggested (though I'm up for hearing any ideas you might have). The only prohibited items: Food, live things and NSFW things.
Leave your suggestions in the comments! On Tuesday, December 8th, I will pick my favorite item from the comments of this post and send it on its way.
Happy holidays!

Is this what the world is coming to? Funny Twitter accounts?
Seems like, since the success of @ShitMyDadSays, "humor-based Twitter accounts" are all set to be the next "single-serving Tumblr blogs" — meaning there will be way too many of them, the majority of which won't be that great.
Fitting that genre, just in time for the holidays (since "the holidays" apparently start the day after Halloween now), we have @LoadedSanta — the fictitious Twitter account of a highly-intoxicated sounding version of Santa Claus (as opposed to the non-fictitious Santa Claus Twitter account).
With an entire movie and generations of sketch comedy to rip off, you think there'd be plenty of brilliant material for Loaded Santa to steal. Instead we get gems like this: "Prancer's f***ing Dancer. In the ass. Oh what. You're shocked?"
Yikes.
See, here's the problem: The reason ShitMyDadSays works is because the guy is following around his real dad. Nothing is funnier than the truth. If the man behind Loaded Santa wanted comedic gold, he'd go track down the real Santa and get the son-of-a-bitch hammered. Then you go tweet the real stuff that comes out of the real loaded Santa's mouth.
Come on! How hard is that??

You know how the stores stock up the shelves with Christmas things the day after Halloween?
That's what I wanted to do with this blog. So who's ready for Christmas?

There is about to be an eBay store. Not one of those eBay stores from 40 Year Old Virgin where you can sell things on eBay — an actual eBay store where you can buy used things. I thought that was called a "flea market."
But — no — it's not even that intuitive. It's not eBay in store-form. Inside, there will be computers for accessing eBay. Maybe that needs re-stating: The "eBay store" will have computers for buying things off eBay.
Dear eBay,
I don't think the problem with eBay is that people don't have computers.
Miss you,
Chris
eBay is opening the store in NYC at the little storefront pictured above. It'll just be open for the holiday season. Because everyone buys their friends used socks for Christmas.

You can stop planning your Christmas card early this year. Some purveyor of homemade X-mas cards has just created the perfect one for everyone on your list. Just click and print the above image and send your friends and family ROFLing. (Assuming your friends and family don't mind slurs against homosexuals.)
I'm not sure where the Internet found this image, but I am in love.
Let's play a little game of "How Many Things Are Wrong With This Card?"
- She called her grandma a "faggot"
- She actually wrote "Merry Holidays"
- She proclaimed "tis' the season" to give someone the finger with a Santa cap on top of it
- The card appears to come from a female (which though not wrong, is unexpected)
- Green hand equals crazy alien!
- The snowflake has 5 points (Learn science, bitch!)
What do you think? What'd I miss??
