One of the big stories after Election Day yesterday was gay marriage taking another defeat at the ballot box, this time in Maine.

Voters in that state repealed a law would have allowed same-sex marriages.  Believe it or not, Maine is now the 31st state that has voted against gay marriage.

But the debate will continue online.  It was one of the top topics being discussed in the Reddit community, where the image above was found, showing a group of anti-gay marriage advocates celebrating the news of their victory.

I know it's not Tuesday at noon, but I'd like to do my own version of the caption contest right now for "What is that old woman on her knees thinking?"

• "Now that my husband knows they can't get married, this should put an end to his affair with Randy."
• "God will thank me for protecting the sanctity of marriage when I meet him at the pearly gates next week."
