Oh, come on! He was just telling the pitcher to throw a spitball. Or a swallowball, depending on his preferences.

Let's be honest, I'm just going to spend it on milk-bones and bitches.

Now if only that dog could buy a ticket,
the Mets would have just 41,799 seats left to fill.

Web traffic reporting site Alexa.comis one of the most recognizable names in the web ranking game. But occasionally their results have been called into question.
Recently, I was glancing over Alexa's list of " Top Sites in United States," doing some quick research, and began to agree with that sentiment. Some of the numbers just don't make sense.
Are these sites really getting that much traffic? Am I that out of touch?? Obviously, someoneis visiting these sites, but I'm just not sure who.
Out of Alexa's top 100, here are 9 websites who's high rankings I can't explain. Check them out after the jump… more...
Before the advent of the Internet, the general populous had no idea what passed for entertainment in the city of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Once a year, the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers would win an automatic birth to the NCAA basketball tournament by capturing the title of the terrible Sun Belt conference, but, outside of that, nothing!
Now, thanks to the "world" wide web — and yes, despite protests from the European Union, Kentucky is still considered part of the "world" — we can learn all sorts of things!
First, with some extensive Wikipedia research, I've been informed that since 2006, Bowling Green has been home to a single A minor league baseball team affiliated with the Tampa Bay Rays, the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
Then, through the magic of YouTube, I was able to watch the above video showing some Kentuckians in action!
Yes, you're seeing it correctly: This video shows fans of the Hot Rods attempting to break the world record for "human mattress dominos." The record seemed like a perfect fit since most of these people don't like to spend a lot of time out of bed, and these hefty humans on the outskirts of Appalachia certainly have gravity on their side.

On Monday night, the Philadelphia Phillies eeked out a win in game four of the MLB NCLS playoffs against the Los Angeles Dodgers with a walk-off two run double in the bottom of the ninth by Phillies short-stop Jimmy Rollins.
If that big hit got you excited, you're in famous company: As you can see in the video above, turns out mobster Henry Hill is a huge fan of the Phightins.
Okay, sure, anyone who knows movies can tell you this video is just a scene from Goodfellas with a well placed audio overdub. Ray Liotta isn't yelling for Jimmy Rollins; he's yelling for Jimmy Conway (Robert De Niro's character in the movie).
But I don't think it's too far fetched to believe that when the Phillies won that game there were some happy mobsters out there somewhere. Probably more than a couple. You been to South Philly? Lotta Italians down there.
Ay, yo, I'm not suggesting anything, alright. Next cheesesteak is on me, guys! Don't worry about it.
