There's Music And Then There's This
When I was 10 years old I sang a solo at a recital in front of 200 people.
The song was "Let It Snow" and I practiced for weeks in the shower before braving the public stage. After I belted the first few verses I looked around at the faces of my family and friends to see how I was doing.
Many years later, I still refuse to even karaoke by myself.
I was 10 performing at a local elementary school. Danielle Staub is 38 performing on a morning news program and, consequently, the Internet. But in the end, we all blush the same.
