Celebrating the best (and worst) of the Tosh.0 blog in 2011.

Despite how it may seem, our goal on the Tosh.0 blog is to make you happy.

Turns out what makes you most happy is beer pong, because our post from 2011 with the most views — by a wide margin — was "Target Knows What You Need For College."

When your alcoholism isn't raging, music is another pastime: the runner up for most popular post went to the dancing vid "Behind Every Great Woman…" and the bronze went to the Rebecca Black post "Songwriting Isn't For Everyone."

On that note, we'd like to thank everyone who has ever visited the Tosh.0 blog, especially those of you who are sticking through these painfully long-winded Tosh.0 Blog Awards!

2011 was easily our most popular year on the blog.  We set records for biggest week ever and best month ever.  Every week, well over 1 million of you stop by to read terrible jokes we wrote about things we found on better websites.

…and for that, Carly and I thank you.

Now I'm off to spend the pile of money I earned doing the easiest job ever.

Many of our most popular posts are actual clips from Tosh.0, but occasionally some of our original blog content gets attention all on its own.

According to analytics service Hitwise, for the first time ever Facebook is the most visited site in the U.S., knocking longtime leader Google into the #2 spot.

This means that searching for your ex on Facebook is now bigger than searching for anything on Google.  It means your "News Feed" from your Facebook friends is now more important than the RSS feeds on your iGoogle page.  It means that staring at your own Facebook profile is the new "Googling your own name."

Well, I'm not sure if it means any of those things specifically.  But it certainly does mean that owning stock in Google is so last week.  All the big money insiders know the new path to riches is trying to sue Mark Zuckerberg for sexual harassment.
