What would you do for a fiver?
Fiverr is a great site where people share the things they are willing to do for $5 in a post. Other site visitors can pay the minimal fee for the services, which range from gigs like website creation and paragraph translation.
Some of the offers seem pretty legit and seriously under priced at $5. If a stranger designed a business card for me or created an Excel sheet of my finances with debt tracking, I would insist on paying them more than $5.
But other services being offered are less of a bargain. My favorite on the site right now is a person who offers to ?try? to answer car issues over email for $5.
Guys? I know this is my job and I shouldn?t be self-promoting but I just want to throw this out there. If you give me $5, I will ?try? to answer your car issues as well.
I should probably note that I know nothing about cars aside from how to drive them (automatic only).
Nonetheless, for $5 I will take a crack at it. Go ahead. Leave me a comment with any car issues you have.
Broken engine? I?ll try to fix it. Something leaking? I?ll try to repair it. Radiator cracked? Do those even crack? I?ll get back to you.
May not be good advice. May not even make sense. Try jiggling the emergency brake! But for a fiver, I?ll damn sure try.
