Hulu Goes After 'Real' TV
Online TV and movie streaming website Hulu is making its first foray into the world of original programing.
If I Can Dream is the story of a bunch of network executives and equity partners who dream about someday turning a profit streaming videos online. It's your classic story of innovation and greed.
What the actual show is about, I have no idea. Who the hell wants to watch original programing on Hulu?
This isn't an advice column, but you can't draw people with original content you've created, Hulu. Start bigger! Take something people already watch on TV and then poach that — something people will actually be willing to go through the trouble of watching online like The Super Bowl or The Big Bang Theory.
Then you'll have people hooked and you can exploit them from there.
Why am I a blogger?? I should be an "equity partner."
