Craziness over at the Red Cross earlier this week when someone accidentally unleashed the above tweet upon their 200,000+ followers.

The Red Cross quickly caught the "rogue tweet," deleted it and issued an apology for it being sent out.

What they didn't apologize for was misspelling "slizzard."  I don't care if the people who I give my blood to are drunk, but I damn sure want them to spell their slang right.

The incident had an upside though: Dogfish Head used the opportunity to promote giving blood to the Red Cross.

Great.  So instead of having two drunks working for the Red Cross, we have thousands of drunks donating their alcohol-infused blood to the Red Cross.

Now you can #getslizzerd with a blood transfusion.

President Barack Obama sent his first ever tweet on Monday on behalf of the American Red Cross's support of disaster relief in Haiti.

Though Obama utilized Twitter during his campaign effort, he supposedly had never actually sent a "tweet" himself.

It's fitting this would all happen on MLK Day.  First, he becomes the first black president.  Then, he becomes the first black president to tweet while in office.  What a historic moment.

Next up on the chopping block: Becoming the first president to ever download a Lady GaGa album on Rhapsody, becoming the first president to play FarmVille while in office, and becoming the first president to order 50 pizzas to the Senate Minority Leader's house via PapaJohns.com.
