Let's Sell a Sitcom for Millions!
After the "success" (really?!?) of their new show "$#*! My Dad Says," news has come that CBS is turning a second Twitter account into a sitcom, @ShhDonTellSteve.
Let's let The Hollywood Reporter tell the story:
"The Twitter feed's premise is a guy who secretly Tweets the actions of somebody he lives with (in this case, his jobless, drunken roommate). The feed has drawn more than 13,000 followers."
That actually seems like– Wait… 13,000 followers?!? That's it???
@ShitMyDadSays had over 700,000 followers when it got picked up as a sitcom. All it takes now is 13,000 followers?? We should all get in on that gravy train…
That's why I've created a new Twitter account: @JohnnySitcom.
The Twitter feed's premise is simple: It follows the hacky, TV-ready tripe of a made-up idiot, Johnny Sitcom.
And here's the best part: If we cross the 13,000 follower mark, I'll go sell the Twitter account to CBS and we'll all split the giant profits! Too easy, right?
So go follow @JohnnySitcom and then sit back and wait for the checks to start rolling in! FREE MONEY!!!
