Texts From Last Night is going to be a sitcom on Fox. Here's something to put that into perspective: Are you fucking kidding me?

TFLN is a compilation of ridiculous (made up) texts with absolutely no cohesiveness or characters, and basically no concept besides "drunk sex." How can you make that into a TV show?

According to the HR's article:

Although it will feature "crazy stuff from last night, it's a lot more about [a] group of friends and their lives," [the writer] said.

Oh, now I get it. On TFLN, the crazy stuff definitely takes a backseat. Texts From Last Night is more about "a group of friends and their lives." I hope they keep the characters' names as "424" and "814."
