Canned Unicorn Meat: Not The Other White Meat
ThinkGeek, a blog that sells geeky toys, apparel, and electronics, offered Unicorn Meat on their site as an April Fool's Day prank. In the product description they called it "the other white meat".
Over a month later the site received a cease and desist from the National Pork Board regarding infringement of their slogan "The Other White Meat":
Ha! Pork Board! You guys are so cute. Unicorn Meat doesn't exist. It was a just a joke.
Don't you have better things to do than issue cease and desists on imaginary products? Like, well, I don't know what a Pork Board does.
You should try to birth pigs that are automatically maple-flavored or something.
Yeah! That's more productive.
