Different people specialize in different things.

Otolaryngologist specialize in ear, nose and throat medicine.
Middle relievers specialize in getting a baseball team from their starter to their closer.
And I specialize in finding videos of animals on top of other animals.

You could say I have a PhD in terrible blog posts.

It's been a long time since we've had a good "things riding on top of other things" post.  My research shows it was way back on March 7th.

So here you go: A baby sea lion riding on the back of turtle.

Why would a sea lion ride a turtle?  Maybe it's trying to escape all those damn chuckling yokels ruining his pristine Galapagos beach with unwanted tourism.

Or maybe his Hyundai is in the shop!  Huh-haw-hee-hah!!

So after last night's world premiere of Happy Thoughts, Daniel's riding pretty high…

But here on the blog, Carly and I are still in charge, and the only "riding" I like to see is animals riding on top of other animals.

Luckily, last night Reddit served up this photo of a rat riding on top of a cat riding on top of a dog.

Writing for the Tosh.0 blog might not be equivalent to having your own stand-up special, but yeah, things are going pretty damn good…  Pretty damn good indeed…

Over the holiday weekend, my mom and my sister were debating whether one of the things I like to do on the Tosh.0 blog is write posts about things on top of other things, particularly animals on top of animals.

Apparently, the discussion got heated to the point where eventually I got a call from my mother to verify if this is true or not.

To which I replied, "It's not my thing.  It's the Internet's thing.  I am just a conduit through which it flows!"

Exhibit A above.  If this is not true, why would anyone post this image on Reddit for the whole Internet to see?  I mean, besides the fact that it is awesome.

As people who hate my blog posts regularly point out, I write a lot about "things on top of other things."  I also tend to have an affinity for turtles, which is odd because in real life, like everyone else, I realize that turtles suck.

So when I came across this image of a duck standing on top of some turtles, Carly declared, "It is like the ultimate photo in your eyes."  Which is true.

But I rarely think of the repercussions of animals standing on top of other animals.  Like, who the fuck does that duck think he is, depriving those poor turtles of light and heat?  Not to mention how uncomfortable it must be to have a goddamn duck standing on your back.

So now I wonder… Animals on top of other animals… Is it speciesist?
